Just curious on what would be required to add the ECC to a '98 SE. The actual unit itself of course, but I wasn't sure if there is an additional module that goes up behind the dash or not.

I cannot believe nobody has jumped on this.. LOL. This is a big undertaking and maybe not something to be done in the summer time. Here is a list, but I may have missed a few little things:
    1.HVAC Control Assem (you have)
    2.HVAC Programmer (near PCM.. has electronics and vacuum line controls)
    3. Sensors (Outside temp, inside temp including duct work, solar sensor on dash)
    4.There is also a feed to the PCM
    5. Air Mix actuator is different
    6. Blower Control Module
    7. Does NOT use the blower relay
    8.Various fuses and wiring differences
:bow: And probably need to add a degree in electrical engineering too. Too much for me. =;

Thanks for the info! :wink:

This was the first thing I wanted to do when we started gutting the SSE....... Pat told me that we didnt have enough time to work through it and that it probably wasnt worth if even if it did work afterwards. :dontknow:

So I'm set on buying an SSEi after I give my car to my Son in a couple of months, assuming I still have the cash then. 8-[ It'll be supercharged AND have ECC. :bwoohoo:
