Moin, Moin,

My A/C is not working.
because I do not have a clue of A/C I went to a Bosch-Service. I have (minimum) two issues:
First: They found out that at minimum a valve is broken.
Second: There is no documentation of the capacitys.

Connectors are R12. But I have no sticker under the hood.
My 1994 Trans Sport has R124a with the same connectors. But I have a GM sticker saying R134a
So I do not know what is the correct one.

I have a Haynes book, but there is no informations at all

Can somebody help with the data?

Oil-type and capacity?
Refrigerant and capacity?

Thanks in advance

I found the following on a search. Apparently '93 was the last year for R12. I didnt find the PAG oil type.
maybe don from old forum wrote:
When charging the system you will only use 85% 134a for the charge...

Say the system used 2.4 of R12... That would be roughly 2lbs of R134a...

IIRC these cars should have been a 2.27 Lb charge of R12, so you would want 1.93 Lbs...

I will say charge the system to 2lbs, If the compressor is good, the AC should be nice and cool... Just bear in mind that R12 work better than 134a... But if Charged correctly the 134a system will cool you down..
