Moin, Moin,

I have a new problem with my Bonnie.

The interior ventilation runs at full strength, no matter what I do:
I can change whatever I want on the control panel, direction, temperature, everything works except the ventilation.
I can remove the fuse (#15): the ventilation is running.
I can remove the key... despite the ignition being switched off: the ventilation is running.
The only way to shut down the vent was to disconnect the battrery.

Any thoughts?

My first thought: Water cannot drain out of the ventilation box. So this maybe creates a short circuit. I have to check if were to open it.

I would bet the blower control resistor module is shorted. It happened to my 92. Acted just like yours.

I'll try to find a link of the part so you know what to look for.

Moin, Moin,

You were 100% right. It was the mentioned control unit. Thanks alot. You saved me a lot of time.
Even with a photo of the location

Beside I'm happy that the problem is solved that easy.
I'm a little bit worries, that the vent blower seems not to be secured with a fuse.

Thanks Mike

When it happened to me, I would unplug the blower when I got out of the car while I waited for a few days for the module to arrive. On my 92, I think the fuse is in a less convenient place than the blower.
