you said the surge goes away after drive.

Sorry my language can make trouble :)

If i start cold engine and drive 100miles and go park and car idles. Idle is normal.

When car is warm/hot, it doesnt matter do i start it second or 60minutes later, then idle starts to humb.

So cold engine and continuesly driving keeps idle fine but warm/hot start starts trouble.

Same thing 1500rpm. It works when i drive cold started engine, no matter how long.

But if i do hot/warm start, idle humbs and 1500rpm on the road hesitates little bit.

And maf sensor off plugged stops that humbing immediately.

can you get a maf off another car to test? you can try tapping the maf lightly and see if anything changes.

I have a maf from a 96 ssei, but I dont think it will work.

your English is good enough for a second language - better than my French..lol

I just checked that correct maf is only 3800 and 3300 engines 8x-90 model years and about 10-15 cars.

Too rare here, we have pontiac trans sports (venture?) But it has newer 3800 and that maf wont fit. So its same problem to your maf. Merde!

I triy to tap it.

Tapping no effect.

But car fixes humbing idle if i drive 1-2mile on hot engine.
And i have started it hot and idle humbs at park. It humbs no matter how long you wait but driving fixes it..

I would either live with the slight surge or drive with the maf unplugged - wont hurt the engine if you dont go hard.

Now it jerks when maf is plugged of. Maf on its continuesly smaller hesitation, maf of it jerks about 1-3 time per mile when you drive 1500-1800.

I have obd cable but winaldl dont support this and tunerpro is wtf to use for me.

Yes yes :D

Will all manufactures maf work? Delco is super expensive.

Today i check exhaust smoke test, mot test or what you call it. Co% was 8 in idle maf plugged. 0.5 is limit here :D

Maf unplugged 0.07...
