I have just bought back my 1987 Olds 88, apparently the guy I sold it to disconnected the ELC compressor because he thought it drained the battery. He rarely drove the car so he might have a point.
But I want to reconnect it, I haul a travel trailer and need the rear suspension working properly.
But where is it?. I might be looking right at it (I believe it is under the hood) and not seeing it. :???:
Whoever posts a picture with it highlighted will have my eternal thanks. :hail: :hail: :hail:

I'm not exactly sure where it is on your car, however they are generally under the rear end of the vehicle. Find the air line connected to either of the rear shocks and trace it back to the compressor. Are the existing shocks still any good? You may find some replacements available as aftermarket parts but I don't believe OEM have been around in a long time.

Right next to the drivers side strut tower.
Yours should be in either the same place, or close by. In your case, it may have the air box going right over the top of it.
