I purchased an 89 Pontiac Bonneville LE last year and can't get the title. It was a cheap car; but it's one of the best vehicles I've ever had (Motor & Transmission wise). I was considering parting it out, but it's my only transportation so I'm hoping I can just get a cheap car that needs a motor &
transmission & put mine into it. My question is, what other cars will work for this project. I'd rather get another Bonneville, but I'm having trouble finding one I can afford. I've found a Pontiac 6000le, a Grand Am & a Sunfire so far.

Have you looked into getting it registered in Vermont? They dont keep titles for anything over 15 years and you can apply for Vermont registration that will actually show your out of state address. Run a google search. I've done this with an old yamaha and my buddy has done it with an older buick. Saw someone in Colorado do the same as well.

Have you looked at Buick and Oldsmobile H Body cars?. Essentially they are badge engineered clones of the same car, minor trim differences and a different model badge are practically all that separates them.

Do you have such a thing as bonded titles there?
