My 89 Bonneville sit for about 6 months.
About a week ago I got it back on the road and it ran fine for 4 days.
When i came outta work it wouldn't crank.. Tried again it ran for 5 seconds and cut off.
Finally I got it started,went and got Starter,Alternator,Battery checked.. All Good..
It has a New Fuel Pump as well...
This past Saturday i took it to get it looked at and the guy said he drove it around.. Crank it and cut it off plenty of times and
it was fine..
Well two days later,it was doing the same thing.
Sometimes it sputters when i drive,especially when i slow down.
Idk if its bad gas,dirty fuel filter or a sensor.. Anyone have any ideas?
When its running it runs Great but sometimes it just wont crank.
Last time was yesterday.. I drove it to the store on my Break,it was fine.. When i came out an Hour later it would crank..
I lifted the hood.. Then 5 minutes later it crank up..
Please Help if yall can..

I would try changing the fuel filter and filling up with fresh gas, maybe running some ISO-Heat in the tank. When a coworker had bad fuel (so bad that it wouldn't start at the gas pump at all), it started and ran at idle for a couple minutes after I added a bottle of ISO-Heat.

It could also be a cam or crank position sensor. They can get temperamental without throwing codes sometimes.

Or possibly the fuel pressure regulator. After it has run, pull the vacuum line off it and smell for gas in it. It should not smell.
